SINÉAD O’CONNOR BIO (courtesy of Atlantic Records) Atlantic Records has announced the forthcoming release of the new album from Sinéad O’Connor, entitled Faith And Courage. Due in stores on June 13, the album marks Sinéad’s Atlantic debut. The first single from the album, "No Man’s Woman," is already the No. 1 most-added track at triple-A outlets and No.3 most-added at hot and modern AC formats. Written by O’Connor with Scott Cutler and Anne Preven of Ednaswap, "No Man’s Woman" was produced by Cutler and Preven and mixed by Andy Wallace. The track’s companion video, directed by Mike Lipscombe (Tori Amos, Tricky, Suede, Jamiroquai, Goldie), makes its debut this week on VH1. Faith And Courage is Sinéad’s first solo release since her Gospel Oak EP in 1997. O’Connor wrote or co-wrote 10 of the album’s 13 tracks, featuring producing and/or composing contributions from Dave Stewart, Adrian Sherwood and Skip McDonald, Brian Eno, Wyclef Jean, Kevin "She’kspere" Briggs, and others. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Sinéad released her debut album, The Lion And The Cobra, in 1987. This was followed by I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got (1990), Am I Not Your Girl? (1992), Universal Mother (1994), Gospel Oak (1997), and So Far...The Best Of Sinéad O’Connor (1997). In 1998, O’Connor signed a worldwide, exclusive, long-term recording contract with Atlantic Records. The complete track listing of Faith And Courage is: "The Healing Room," "No Man’s Woman," "Jealous," "Dancing Lessons," "Daddy I’m Fine," "Til I Whisper U Something," "Hold Back The Night," "What Doesn’t Belong To Me," "The State I’m In," "The Lamb’s Book Of Life," "If U Ever," "Emma’s Song," "Kyrié Eléison"
